Bluebird Day will brighten anyone's day. Bluebird is brewed with a healthy amount of pale and caramel malt, and matched with tropical aromatic hops. Fermented as an ale, the finish is evident in alcohol and slight sweetness.

An Indian Pale Ale that's double the fun!

Draft at Montana Tap House in Whitefish. Pours a clean golden-amber with a modest white head. Initial mpression is a malty, smooth, sticky, and citrus-y DIPA, with due consideration given to hops but not reslly hop forward. Mouthfeel is slick and sticky; alcohol is well hidden. Finish is smooth and inviting of the next sip. Excellent!!

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – The beer is served a clear golden orange color with a one finger head of white foam. The head fades fairly fast to leave a trace of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is big of tropical fruits of mango, papaya, and tangerine with some lighter aromas of a doughty nature. Along with these smells comes a little bit of caramel and some light hay.
Taste – The taste begins with a sweeter tropical fruit flavor that was perceived in the nose. The citrus hop is strong right from the start and remains that way throughout the taste. There is doughty flavor upfront which becomes more bready in nature as the taste advances. With some herbal and pine hop joining in at the very end, one is left with a rather citrusy and sweet hopped up taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is somewhat thicker with a carbonation level that is normal. For the mix of sweet and hop the feel is rather well done and makes this one easy drinking and approachable.
Overall – This was a rather nice double overall and one to try if you get the chance.

Very smooth and alcohol is well hidden. Only 65 IBUs. Not very malty but also virtually no hop aroma or flavor. Typical of beers from this brewery. Smooth and balanced but somewhat flavorless. A double dry hopped version of this beer would be interesting to try.
