Might fizzy head, nice retention and lacing, very clear pale

Nose dank little musty, mild tropical, grassy thing, herbal

Taste more tropical and musty grape wine, little bitter grassy herbal, touch citrus and genetic fruit, little wheat grainy malt, thin

Mouth is light thin watery, decent carb

Overall eh, way too thin and watery, hop profile is nice, just needs more malt

16 0z. Canned on : 7/12/17 Cracked open on : 7/27/17. Bottom of can has printed 6.2 % abv. In Collaboration with Thirsty Moose Tap house.

Only a slight haze to the deep honey and gold color. A well sustained creamy white cap clumps up and becomes a bit lacy.

The nose, the aroma....has dense layers of hops. Deep tropical fruits, slight citrus, but mostly a juicy red fruits hop aroma with subtle pineapple.

The crisp bite and looking earthy bitterness pops out first from the feel and flavor. The dry, earthy bite of bitter hops rides on throughout the midnight. The tropical hop aroma doesn't roll over into the taste. The hops are mostly earthy -dry and bitter edged. Maybe some subtle pine as well. Dry, leafy, earthy hops with a pretty big malt, honey coated white bread and herbs make up the malt complexity, maybe some golden wheat and black pepper too. Did I mention pine? As in, pine sap bitterness?! Pineapple has a sweet edge, this IPA does not. Big in the sweetness for aroma but not in flavor. Oh....o.k....Grapefruit. ...no doubt. ...big grapefruit flavor. I put sugar on my Grapefruit!

The body is full, crisp, big, dry, earthy bite, slightly boozy but pretty lush, finishing dry as ......bleep. The aroma would lead you to believe it's going to be a very juicy style flavor, but it just isn't.

As the New England IPA sub-style takes hold of the beer (geek) lanscape....hereS a throwback to the big, bitter West coast IPA styles.

On tap at J. Bartlett's pub in the Whole Foods in Nashua. 16oz pint glass. Beer is clear with a fast disappearing head. Not much aroma to speak of. This sounds like faint praise but I mean it as a compliment, it's a very well done, almost prototypical East Coast IPA .
