A- golden amber, looks more like a kristallweizen - THIS IS NOT A HEFE, obviously the wheat protein has been filtered - its far too clear, but it does pour with the classic bavarian weizen head - 3 fingers and thick creamy. Actually looks pretty good to me, from previous reviews, wasnt sure what to expect but hopefully will prove to be good

S- some faint banana notes and cloves but there is an overpowering butteriness to it - not classic of the style

T- a bit watery, not enough fruit notes, and the butter comes through strong. A very quick finish with no real hoppy bitter notes at all. as it hits the tongue, it reminds me of bavaria but it just finishes so poorly. No real character

M- Carbonation is a bit low for a weizen - not much life at all. rather sticky to be honest. too much sugar

D - wouldnt get this again. not very refreshing at all to me, much better to stick with true bavarian weizen's.

500ml bottle bought from Asda...

Poured a golden orange / light copper colour... Slightly off white head poured thick and foamy and faded to nice layer... patchy lacing...

Aroma - Light toffee malts, some cloves, spicy fruits (banana, apples, pears), wheat traces, honey, sweet nuttiness, some sea saltiness...

Taste – Light nutty sweetness, toffee hints, light toasted maltiness, quite hoppy for a wheat beer, some fruitiness (burnt orange, apple)...

Feel - Quite smooth with some sharpness underneath. Light / medium body. Pretty drinkable...

Overall - A pretty good brew... although quite strange for a wheat beer - quite malty and hoppy... not really a traditional wheat beer in the German or Belgian sense....

Pours a golden yellow colour with a brief white head. Leaves very little lacing to speak of.

Wheaty aroma, very subtle raisin hint. Otherwise a little lagerish.

Taste is wheaty and yeasty, with subtle hints of hoisin sauce, raisins, and with a slight spicy alcohol finish.

A pleasant beer, very drinkable, if a little nondescript - luckily this beer has a few very subtle yet highly interesting undertones to hold it in greater light.
