This is a seasonal release at Seven Barrel Brewery in W Lebanon, NH.
Appearance: The ale has a goldenrod color with a bit of head.
Smell: The ale has a strong malt biscuit aroma and almost no hops.
Taste: The malt flavors are strong in the body as well. There are almost no hops here to really stand out, instead the biscuity malts rule this beer. The hops kick in from time to time to add a shot of bitterness.
Mouthfeel: The ale is alright on the palate, but the hop body is way too relaxed.
Drinkability: I don't find enough here that I like to go back for a full pint.
