A: Very deep copper-amber, with a nice haze to it.

S: Huge grapefruit hop presence, and very sweet caramel. The aroma is strong with this beer, much bigger than its little brother, the Champion Reserve.

T: Follows the nose directly. The hops are bitter, but the sweetness of the malt hits right after. The tongue is torn between the citrus hops and caramel malt taste. Has a slight boozy taste that is welcomed.

M: Medium bodied, rather thin for a DIPA, but has a great smoothness to it due to solid carbonation. Faint alcohol burn.

D: It's great, but a shame they only serve it 10 ounces at a time! For about $2.50 though, can't really beat it.
