A: Slightly hazy copper body under a thin wisp of off-white head. Insipid.

S: Very light and fresh aroma of biscuity malt and bright, herbal hops. Delicate and enjoyable.

T: Follows the nose, but with a bit more malt sweetness than I'd like. Still, nice depth of malt flavor and very fresh-tasting hops make this a tasty brew. Cleanly bitter finish. Nice.

M: Fairly light, effervescent, and creamy solid.

O: I didn't expect much out of this one, but was really impressed at the freshness of the hops and the depth of the malt. I could easily see myself throwing back a few pints of this one.

A) Red to amber in color. Thin head, thin lacing.
S) Predominately caramel malt aroma. Just a touch of hop citrus.
T) A very well balanced malt to hop ratio. caramel and toffee, mixed with citrus notes. Everything remains consistent to the end. Just a light hop bitterness lingers in the finish.
M) Smooth, medium body, but feels a bit light in the finish.
D) A decent brew. Not a standout, but definitely I'd have another.

Off of the tap at the brewing company this beer was a copper color with ruby highlights. The one-finger head was beige colored, retained ok as a collar and left very good lacing in fishnets. The aroma was of toasted malt, caramel malt and floral hops. Not a big aroma but it was very appealing. The flavors were bitter and hoppy with crisp, well-defined floral hops backed by a mild caramel malt backbone. The mouthfeel was smooth, the body medium and the carbonation light. A good example of an American Red and quite sessionable.

Color: Dark/ruby red with razor thin head.

Aroma: Smooth, sweet and malty. Inviting.

Taste: Sweet upfront with a thin malt profile. Roasty.

Mouthfeel: Sweetness lingers a bit. Goes down ok.

Drinkability: Sweetness is a bit much at first but its simple and drinkable. I like it.

Was given a growler, which was 7 days old when opened. Red/amber color with little to no head or lacing.

Aroma was of malt, no hop smell as I was hoping. Mouthfeel was average, nothing of any real interest. Taste was as the aroma, malt backbone with little to no hop bite at all.

I would not ask for this beer again. It wasn't bad, but wasn't very good either, IMO. Back to the drawing board.

This is a cask-conditioned pint served at Seven Barrel Brewery in W Lebanon, NH.

Appearance: The ale has a nice copper color with a good head and a surprising lack of lace (for a cask-conditioned beer).

Smell: The ale has a light hoppy aroma that results from the cask, as the regular ale's hop presence was much more reserved.

Taste: The hops are strong here. They come across as English, with a combination of earthy and floral flavors. There is a bit of malt to provide a biscuity background for the hops to play in. The cask conditioning smooths all of these tastes out and leaves an ale that is creamy with a thick taste.

Mouthfeel: The ale is agressive and assertive on the tongue, very nice taste.

Drinkability: I recommend this on cask as opposed to tap, as the hop flavors are muted but last longer.

I hate these low marks, they always look so bad, even thought the drinking experience wasn't out and out horrible or anything. But I guess I have to call 'em like I drank 'em. Pretty clear reddish amber in the glass. There was a fine misty cream colored head on top. I searched for the aroma, but came up lacking. Tastewise, this beer was extremely mild, actually almost watery. Surprisingly there was noticeable dryness, and some tannins on the tongue. Little uneven.

On tap in a pint glass. Excellent lace on this deep amber orange hued ale. Very basic and balanced, lots of mildly toasted biscuit-like malt. Balanced hoppiness with a fruitiness from the yeast.

Very easy to drink a few pints of this brew, nice job with this one.
