On tap from a growler obtained from the brewpub. Sampled on June 28, 2012. The look is a medium amber with little red color. The aroma is incredibly berry-like along with malts and a touch of licorice. The body is medium. The taste also has a sweet malty, fruity character at fruit but it eventually ends on the dry side with a notable hop bitterness at the finale. The higher ABV is hard to notice. There was a lot of interesting character in this beer.
