A traditional Franconian style country restaurant in a tiny hillside village. The lack of a parking lot and narrow streets make finding parking a challenge. The restaurant is next door to the brewery and across the street from the bottling house. The interior consists of two large rooms decorated with old krugs (ceramic steins) and brewing equipment. It was clean and tidy, but the local people gave it a nice homey feel.

The staff were quite friendly, which cannot be said of the average server in the area. The menu was limited with only a few meet dishes available at dinner time (Schaufele, Sauer Bratten, Schweinne Braten, and Franconian Bratwurst from what I remember). The schaeufele with kloss was great and I highly recommend trying it if you have the hunger necessary to finish it. The dunkles kellerbier from the keg was smooth and tasty. I didn't try any of the other beers, but from past experience I can recommend the Hefeweizen, and I'm sure their other beers are good as well. It's only fault is that it's a bit out of the way, but in the end it adds to the atmosphere and makes Lindenbraeu a great place to visit.

The food and drinks are a steal with the dinner dishes going for 6 to 8 euros and beer was 2 euros for half of a liter.

Notes:
They offer plenty of goodies for sale including a variety of glasses, a t-shirt, different schnapps, jellies, and their beer in 0.5l swing top bottles and kegs.
Brewery tours are offered for groups of 5 or more.
Grafenberg is accessible by train from Nuremberg.
