Some of the folks from Brown Derby asked some of the folks from Springfield Brewing Co. about getting together to produce a special, small-batch beer and aging it in a bourbon barrel selected by Brown Derby. Derb’n Barrel is the result and we hope you like it!
The dark roasted malts used in the stout lend hints of coffee, chocolate and licorice, and the bourbon barrel this barrel called home during aging imparted vanilla, coconut, and toasted oak to the aroma. An exquisite combination.
