Greene Dragon Double IPA has a big punch of juicy, tropical melon notes that fill the nose, followed by a citrus silky smooth finish. This delicious brew features a double helping of Citra and Idaho 7 hops. Greene Dragon is sure to leave any Hop Head happy.

Craving more hops? Greene Dragon DIPA is a pumped up version of our flagship IPA, Greene Ghost. Named after a brewing term, "Green Dragon", referring to a trail of green dust that plumes up after a generous dry hop into the fermenter.

We picked this up at the local beer store when they had a rep giving free samples of SBC beers. This one is exceptional. Clear and golden with a tall and firm white head…the smell is full of pine, grass, and fresh-cut grains. It is lightly sweet, balanced with enough hop flavor and bitterness to keep it centered. Beautiful balance. Full in body, lightly fruity, and delicious. This one is very good.

Clear golden color with a white head that provides moderate lacing. Dank citrus notes, as well as some melon and berry aromas on the nose, and those notes translate to the taste, with the dank citrus edging toward weedy. Very nice, especially with the drying mouthfeel making for a very drinkable WCIPA.

Unclear gold with 1.5 finger head. Nose is orange, pine, malt, floral, corn nuts, grass, pineapple. Taste is pine, citrus, malt. Balance is just a bit on the sweet side, but the bitterness lingers. Medium full mouthfeel.

12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden yellow color with a small, white head of foam. It smelled of pine, citrus and toasted caramel. Big piney taste with sweet caramel and toasted notes.

Poured from 12oz bottle into glass. Label has bottled on date as '091418',
Clear, pale gold colored body. Minimal head upon pouring, which results in a partial island and ring. Leaves behind medium sized spots of lacing.
Aroma of melon hops. Subtle.
Taste continues with the melon hops, followed by very slightly more bitter citrus hops. Flavors are subdued.
Medium mouth feel. Clean. Lower carbonation.
Tasty, balanced, and easy to drink (rather quickly) but the smell and flavors are subdued. Very good choice to pair with food, because there are hop flavors here but not at all strong.

An amped up version of Greene Ghost. Has a sized head and laces really well. Smells of citrus and hops. Citrus and pine flavors stand out without this beer being over bitter.
