Appearance - 2.0
Pours a finger of bubbly white head that quickly disappeared over a clear body of pale gold.
Smell - 3.0
Sweetish aroma with notes of grain and a little corn.
Taste - 3.5
A bigger malt backbone that most pale lagers, tastes of grain and a suggestion of toffee, fades to a dry and slightly bitter finish with a hint of spicy hops flavour. Unexciting, but good for its kind.
Mouthfeel - 3.5
Moderate to lively carbonation feels somewhat coarse in the mouth
Drinkability - 4.0
A great thirst slacking summer beer - more people should drink Mex instead of TEDs, Corona etc.
OVERALL - 3.15
An interesting beer in that it is from Mash a craft brewery, yet is brewed in Indonesia and made to appeal to the masses with a definite nod towards Corona. Regardless, this is a beer to be ignored by real beer enthusiasts, who will be more interested in the rest of the Mash range. Average.
