Dark brown in color with a somewhat hazy complexion. There’s just a faint trace of khaki brown on top. There’s a light bubblegum note in the nose along with a light nuttiness. I’m tasting what should be a sweet wheat and instead it’s a bit sour and there’s a bit of tartness in the finish. It is a bit reminiscent of Rodenbach Grand Cru and a Flanders red (flannel red?), but that wasn’t what they tried for. The mouth is seems a bit carbonated and warm for the style.

From a tall can, this beer is a ruddy brownish-amber color, back with a little orange hue. Quickly falling head. The aroma has a wheat twang and maybe some phenols underneath. Quiet smell. The taste is really tart...almost sour. Far too dry and sour for the style. I'm not sure if it was intended, or the batch is flawed. It's drinkable, but not appropriate for the described style. All in all, this is underwhelming. I'd pass if offered again.
