From the half liter bottle, it pours a clear golden color with a very nice white head that slowly reduces and leaves lacing. The nose gets some bready malt with grassy notes, followed by the mouth getting the same with a pleasant malty flavor with grassy notes. Decent but forgettable.

Pours a clear, golden coloration with a large, fluffy head and slightly visible carbonation. Smells of doughy malt and floral hops, with some grassy highlights. Taste is a good balance of sweet'ish doughy malt and quite floral, slightly grassy hops, with just a hint of herbal accents. Finishes with a light bitterness and some sweet malt and floral, grassy hops lingering in the aftertaste. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.

Not too much to say about this one really. It's a clean, easy-drinking Lager with a good balance of malt and hops although just a bit too sweet, floral and not quite bitter and herbal enough for my personal taste. Overall, a pleasant Lager, just not quite to my personal taste.

Half litre bottle, poured into pint shaker.

A: Pale golden in colour, slightly hazy, small disappearing head, not much lacing clung to the side of the glass.

S: Faint charcoal and noble hop, some malt towards the end.

T: Grass, malt and charcoal.

M: Slightly coarse edge, not much carbonation.

O: Not bad, but not that great either. After trying four beers from the brewery (Brauerei Göller) which didn’t really impress, I’ll give them a swerve in future.

Unusual for a Pilsner but still good. An interesting floral Geraniol character comes across along with the malt. Looks good. Doesn't have much aroma.

Quite enjoyable if untraditional.
