Clear platinum with piles of shaving cream foam. Nose of oyster crackers with lemon zest, grass and a bit of musty spice - bright and fresh.
Fresh-baked country pan malts with some salt, a metallic tang, and leaf and hay hops.
Golden raisin finish and numbing linger. Light, crisp, bright.
Impressively bright and flavorful - whether that's down to it being a superior beer or having a short trip from Germany, I can't say. I'd expect the hops to be a bit more forward and it's a bit thin for a Marzen, but top lager all around.
