I tried this beer at the brewery. It was part of a four sample flight. It poured a opaque dark with no head and no lace. The scent had very nice roast notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with subtle roast notes. The mouthfeel was lighter in body and had good carbonation. Overall it was a decent beer.

Dark, almost pitch black. Topped by a finger's worth of mocha brown head that stuck around for the entire beer. Nice combination of roasted malts and sweetness. The feel of the beer seemed to get better and better as I moved through the pint. Very nice offering from Tate (head brewer). This place is becoming what it could have been all these years. Cheers to that!
