In the early 1900’s a young girl named Clara lost her life in a terrible fall down the back stairwell of the station. To this day strange things go on in that area of the building courtesy of Clara. So in honor of our resident ghost we name this traditional American style pub ale.

I tried this beer at the brewery. It was part of a four sample flight. It poured a clear amber with white head that left some lace. The scent had grain and malt notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with sweet malt and grain presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body and had good carbonation. Overall it was a good beer.

Just had this yesterday at the BrewErie. The name hasn't changed, but these beers have all received makeovers from new head brewer Tate Warren. His new and improved Amber is very much malt driven, though it's not overly thick and sticky. Very little in the way of hop here. Super clean toasted malt taste. Very sessionable. Cheers Tate!

darker amber color, sort of a plain smell.thin almost watery texture, taste is not bad not quite the ale taste i thought it would be.the alcohol content is up there pretty good at 8% so it does have a slight kick if you have a couple.this is not their best beer in my opinion but certainly not their worst. i would drink it again if there was no ipa available.

A - Poured an amber color with an off white head that leaves lacing

S - Is of sweet malt and some dark fruit scents

T - Not so good it has a weird ashy taste with some fruit

M - This beer has a thin watery body with light carbonation to it

D - The score gets hurt here because of the taste I'm just not going to drink beer that tastes like I'm drinking it from an ashtray

The beer pours a dark amber/brown color with a thick frothy offwhite head that slowly fades to lacing. The aroma is decent. It has a very malty scent; almost Scotch ale like. It's full of crystal and roasted malts. The taste is decent as well. It has a watered down malt taste. It's tastes like a weak extract beer. The crystal and roasted malts are present, but they're too watered down to enjoy the full flavor of. The mouthfeel is above average. It is a low bodied beer with adequate carbonation. This is a hit and miss brew. I like the appearance and aroma, but the taste falls flat. It just doesn't give you the malt flavor that it could.
