500 ml bottle, my wife bought this one for me in Prague. Golden colour, large and lasting head, looks slightly off-white. Moderate carbonation, which I like. Aroma is somewhat sweetish, with grassy and flowery aromatic hops. Nice hoppy bitterness in the flavour and aftertaste, but EXTRA bitter? Not more than you expect from a decent Czech golden lager. Still a lager well above average, as far as lagers go.

A somewhaat dark golden clear brew, a white head that leaves some lacing.
Some citric, lemon, notes, a bit bread, some grass and nettles from the hops.
Also some lemon, a metallic buttery note, rather much bitterness. Crisp.
Rather much carbonation, refreshing and yet a small dry finish.
A robust standard Czech lager.

Appearance: Kruovice Jubilejní Leák pours a medium light yellow colour along with a clear white crown that contains few, but big, bubbles which diminishes rather quickly and leaves a fairly low amount of lacing.
Smell: Nothing that is strongly detectable more than that of a reminiscence of maltiness in the form of bread.
Taste: The first thing that strikes me is what I've come to recognize as somewhat of Kruovices own trademarked sweet-bitterness; it remains all through the experience. However, as time goes by the bitterness grows to take bigger place in the process along with a pleasant acidic sensation in the aftertaste.
Mouthfeel: Relatively full for a pale lager, low in carbonation and mild to the palate.
Drinkability: Easy on the throat, sufficiently full and balanced in the flavours and accomplishing all of this correspondingly without being a all too much of a "heavy duty"...

This beer was brewed for the first time in June 2005 to celebrate the brewery's 425th anniversary in 2006. It is marketed as an "extra bitter lager" and the name translates to "Jubilee Lager".
The colour is gold-amber. The head is two fingers high.
The smell is malty with notes of fruits and vegetables. The sweetness makes me think more of Scandinavian lagers than Czech pilsner.
The taste is sweet. Very sweet. Some roasted flavours. Some butter and syrup. It is a bit chemical and sharp in the aftertaste, which is dominated by the malts too.
The carbonation is strong; the liquid somewhat light.
An overall unbalanced beer. A disappointment.
