Pours cloudy orange, HUGE white foamy head, that visibly subsides to a one finger cap.
Big floral smell, grassy hops, spicy herbs and some Belgian spiciness.
Starts very "green" and bitter, a flash of fruit (apple, peach), followed by strong hops that dominate the rest of the brew. Big floral notes, perfume-like, nice honey sweetness for a short while. Busy Belgian yeasts with peppery spices, aromatic herbs. Really bitter finish, quite dry.
Seems a bit heavy bodied, medium carbonation, not gonna finish this one too quickly. Hoppy aftertaste, a bit rough and lacking the tasty parts. Nicely hidden abv.
Like the usual Hopus, but on steroids, so hop fans will probably prefer these Primeurs. Needs a bit more balance tho.

Beer bottle (33 cl.) purchased from Bières & Chopes, and tasted in may 2014.
Appearance : golden color, with white foamy head (nice lacing).
Smell : grass, floral and nice hoppy aromas.
Taste & mouthfeel : grassy flavors with dry hoppy finish.
Drinkability : a good beer in the style Belgian IPA (dry Hopping method).
Better than the ordinary Hopus.
