Blind-tasted except for the beer's name and brewery/country...
L- Mid amber, somewhat hazy, pours with a thin 1mm white head. ps @+10mins, holds well, forms lacing.
S- Seems mild to me, perhaps just 'that aromatic timber note' you sometimes get from BE-Tripels. Oh plus subtle hints of piquancy. It should be clearer in the taste... ps. Later I get some hints of apple scent as I raise my glass to quaff.
T- It's pungent and has clear bright trad hops in the finish leaving a dry brush over the lips and palate.
F- Quite striking that the hops seems more prominent than any notable richness that I'd normally associate with a BE-Triple. IDK, maybe because it's not a monastic?
O- I see Belgian Triple and expect something preditable. This is notably hoppier than that; trad hops though I should note. - Like a hoppier/contemporary take on a trad Tripel. Nice enough though the hops are perhaps just a bit too prominent for me.
Review/scoring all done, now the reveal, I get to read the lables to see what I missed! --> Nothing of note there.
330ml bottle BB: 09/22 Euro2.60 Bought from BeerMania Belgium as part of a large pick-your own consignment to London. - #1834

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
