Probably should be a fall seasonal, but it is available in several Vienna grocery stores year round. Green 33cl bottle with a couple of pumpkins under the name. The slogan above the name reads "strength for the man, joy for the woman." Supposedly contains the extract of 40 pumpkin seeds in every bottle, and is therefore, again supposedly, good as a prophylactic for men worried about prostate problems. Yeah, sure. Best before 9/13/07, I opened it on 10/28/06.

Pours clear light orange under a one finger white head that dissipates quickly leaving no traces. The nose starts a bit skunky, but mellows as it warms, allowing a bit of fruitiness to emerge.amongst the grain. The mouth is mildly carbonated and somewhat sticky. The label claims a distinct nutty flavor. Not sure about that, as I'm picking up a more fruity note reminiscent of pumpkin strings rather than pumpkin seeds. There's barley here, too, and trace elements of a hoppy bitterness, with the aftertaste featuring dry ear wax in the back of the throat while the pumpkin plays on the tongue. Not my cup of tea, to say the list, I have to admit that it does deliver on most of what it promises. Maybe somebody likes it...
