Get the Pook's Pilsner. It's not on the menu.

Sadly this place has actually has a pretty good tap list for the area. Some craft, a few local, and of course their own stuff. I normally like to get their house brews, even though I'm never overly impressed with them. Their house brews are good representations of whatever style it is, but that's about it, they don't do anything special.

Food is real good, it's the main reason I come here, though it's a little expensive for what it is. Recommend saving room for dessert as the pizzookie, a cookie cooked in a small cast iron plate with ice cream on it. Place can get real busy, especially on weekends.

I love coming here during the happy hour. I usually will get the pizza with an Arrogant Bastard or one of the brew house beers. The place always seems to be busy, especially during happy hour and weekends.
The service is pretty good and I get my beer and food pretty fast. The staff has always been friendly and helpful.
The selection is pretty good for a restaurant. It is hard to find Arrogant Bastard on tap around where I live and this places always has it. They also have a lot of other great craft beers and of course their own.

It has a great atmosphere with the bar area and the wall of big screen TVs. Great if you are wanting to catch a game (or several games.) Can get a little crowded during happy hour. Especially if you are trying to find a spot in the bar. You have to hover like a hawk until someone gets up.

The deep dish pizza is incredible. I would not recommend the Cuban burger, a little dry. But my friend says the California Burger is killer.

There is a wide selection of beer to choose from. There are seven beers they have year-round and then some seasonals which come in and out. Their happy hour prices are not as good as they used to be, but still a great place to throw back a few.

This is a decent generic brewpub. There are tv's all around showing sports, but the volume isn't cranked up on them. Service is a mixed bag. Sometimes I've gotten great, friendly service. A lot of times I'll sit at my table for 5 or 10 minutes with an empty beer in front of me, though. There's a reasonable line-up of in-house beers available year-round, always at least 6 or 7, plus a special seasonable beer. Most of them are quite drinkable if not exceptional. The menu is pretty large, but a tad on the pricey side. True, portions are large, but many of the items leave you feeling a bit bloated. The thin-crust basil pizza on the appetizer menu is one of my favorite items. It's a big enough meal for me, and it's darned tasty. The fish and chips are decent, as are the burgers.

The staff mostly don't seem to know much about the beers, and they're served way too cold, just above freezing. I think the beers would be more enjoyable at a little higher temp, but none of them are particular bad in any case.

I enjoy this place. When I went the first time they had an awesome bock on tap. Not sure if it fit the style of "bock". But that's what they called it and it was darn good. As far as there other "in-house" brews go, I've tried a few and they didn't really stand out as much as their bock did.
As far as the food goes I haven't tried much, but the pizza is excellent.
It can get a little crowded sometimes, and the atmosphere is sort of trendy sports bar.
Overall, I enjoy the food and beer that this place puts out. I recommend that if you are in the area, give it a try.
