Bought and consumed in La Fortuna, Costa Rica. This beer is yet another seltzer water light style beer that is meant to be drank in the heat on the beach. It is much the same as Bavaria light but with a slightly higher ABV, or like Imperial but with a slightly lower ABV. This exists to take up shelf space and, I guess to satisfy those people who dont know whether to drink a light beer or a "regular" one. Very carbonated, slightly refreshing but no taste or smell really. It is better than the light, for what that is worth. Avoid.

another clear bottles adjuncty lager from these guys, i almost feel like they dont need to make seven or eight of them or however many there are, like they are interchangeable to a certain degree, but i suppose differentiation is the name of the game these days, so here comes bavaria chill, as if the light or the gold or the imperial light or silver werent enough for you... this is actually somewhat better than most of those though, less of a forced grain thing, more relaxed there, way drier than most, and as crisp and clean in the finish as any of them. this seems to have a little more body than the light, and a little more alcohol too, but still super minimal in both, but more beery i guess, more satisfying in some way, i can taste real grain in here too, pale barley malt of course, and its quite stripped down, but its there more than it is in others, and there is a wonderful brisk feel to it, where the beer flavor dries right up in this huge cascade of carbonation and a disappearing act. i found this refreshing and unoffensive, and about a half step better than most of the rest of them. the craft scene in costa rica though is very vibrant these days, and has all of these beers beat by miles. i was so impressed, but in the absence of that, this bavaria chill worked just fine for me, especially in the humid heat!
