D'Ham Brune

Poured out a dark reddish brown, thick frothy tan head, tons of lacing. The nose has good piney hop notes along with some sour cherry, and decent malt. The taste is almost like a cross between a light IPA, a dark lager, and a porter. Has a good mouthfeel, medium cabronation, clean finish, pretty drinkable.

Dark tinged yeast, overflowing head. Thanks Boutip. some yeasty aroma. Creamy mouthfeel, moderately spicey taste and sweet caramel, quaffable passable Belgian. Nutmeg, roasted malt, a tad of sugar, chocolate malt,anise.Drying finsih understated carbonation.

A- massive beige head. Very dark, almost black. Red and brown highlights when held up to a light. Good effervescence. White clumps of yeast sank to the bottom of the glass.

S- plum and dried fruit. The odour and the flavour don't seem to have much to do with each other, though both are good.

T- Roasted malt. Chocolate. Pleasant and unobtrusive bitter aftertaste of bitter chocolate and hops. Overall flavour is surprisingly light and lacks complexity. However it is well balanced and enjoyable. The dried fruit aromas of the smell start to show themselves in the flavour as the beer warms up.

MF- High carbonation. Light body, but not watery.

D- An easy to drink dark beer. Nothing really special, but balanced and pleasant overall.

Dark brown beer with some copper notes. Huge and rocky tan head that clings to the glass.

Chocolate and honey aroma hints of spices.

Sugary, nutty malt backbone with some roasted notes. Lots of hop character here adding citrusy and spicy flavours. Alcohol is well hidden. Aftertaste is of bitter coffee and orange peel. Body is medium and carbonation is fairly high.

Very pleasant and well balanced. So far everything I've tried from this brewery has been top notch.
