Bottle: Poured a clear medium amber color ale with a large enough head with medium retention and some light lacing. Aroma of caramel malt and light dry hops is pleasant enough and refreshing. Taste is also a mix between some caramel; malt with balanced sweetness and some dry hops to complete the balance. Body is about average with OK carbonation. No brewing flaw but no major characteristics that would make me want to buy this beer on a regular basis.

The beer is amber, very dark and veiled. The head is creamy and the bubbles are of different diameter (small, medium and large). The aroma presents some notes of caramel malts and some sugar. On the taste side, it is special. Not even close to the aroma. Some floral hops with some earthy notes. The bitterness reminds my of absinthe (my reference is Blanche à l'absinthe from Microbrasserie du Lièvre). Carbonation is too present in the mouth to make this beer a little bit more smooth. It is too crisp in my opinion.
Once the beer is warmer, I get grapefruits notes. However, the beer remains too strange to be very enjoyable... An average beer at best.
