A rum beer. 500ml brown bottle.
A- Almost opaque brown. Adding the yeast makes it completely opaque. Thick brown paper colored head. Some spots of lacing.
S- I'm getting the rum already. That metallic/tomato smell so often present in Dham beers is also here. Cardboard.
T- Not much taste here. Whatever combination of malt and hops there is (oh and the rum) tastes good. I found a little bit of grapefruit from the hops. Bitterness is a bit like a barleywine's. The little bit of rum reminds me of a watered down shooter. After taste is bitter with whisky.
M- Quite smooth. Pretty dry and astringent. High carbonation.
D- Okay. Easy to drink, tasty enough.
Not sure for what reasons, but I like it. Maybe because I like whisky.
