Bottle from some place in Gatineau, that my girlfriend picked up.
Cant turn down a beer that says Beer and Fur on it... wait, thats Fir. ;)
Pours a VERY light yellow with a half finger of head. looks like piss to be honest.
Smells like the forest. Not too overpowering, but the Fir is most definitely the most powerful odor emanating. Traces of honey round out the fir and give it a sweet nose.
Taste is, HOLY FIR!! my god this is powerful tree taste. The nose was misleading in that it was going to be subtle. Subtle like a hello kick to the balls. There is a tinge of honey sweetness, but the fir is overpowering all aspects of this and even lingers in the back of my throat and in the aftertaste. If you wonder what chewing on a fir branch tastes like, get some.

I really liked both the Elliwill and Thuya so hoping for the best.
A- Beaten egg-white on a very hazy overcooked hard-boiled egg yolk. Very nice head on a pretty ugly liquid.
S- Smells nice. Reminds me of some tropical flavour Sprite or 7up released in the late 90's but more natural. Passion fruit.

T- Surprising how well I find conifer flavours seem to meld with hops and their bitterness. Light but flavourful.
M- Medium to high carbonation. Crisp overall. A little oily.
O- I like this. Tastes good, feels good. I'd buy this again. If only this could be cheaper.
Glad this brewer is making different beers... which are taste good.
