Brewed for the Délices d'Automne festival.
Poured from a 341ml. bottle.
Appearance: Pours a cross between a golden and amber body though it leans towards amber. 2 finger head that holds for a minute before disappearing.
Smell: Slight fruit, minerals and dark malt. Not sure why but it seems slightly off.
Taste: The malt profile reminds me of a Vienna but there's also caramel and some mineral bitterness. Some slight sweetness in the aftertaste. The flavor seems dumbed down though and not much is coming through.
Mouthfeel: Body is certainly light but it is very watery and has a very abrupt & clean finish.
Drinkability: Too bland for my liking. Won't really revisit this one.
Overall: This had such potential for an autumn beer but fell woefully short. No spices or anything, just a watered down lager. Barely a notch above adjuncts.
