Pours clear ruby red into a glass from a bottle. Offwhite reddish head disappates to froth after a short moment.

Aroma is red malts, earth, apple, peppery hops and creamy red licorice. Flavour follows on with a bit more creaminess apparent, red cooking apple, and some hop bitterness.

Feel is light-medium, low carbonation and wet finish.

Standard red ale; pretty sessionable.

Can't make my mind up about this. Copper coloured beer, not that clear and fairly thin body (which was a good thing). Tastes interesting, tobacco, nuts maybe some chocolate and a lot more tobacco. Don't think I've ever tasted tobacco in a beer before and still can't decide if it's great or not because of it. I'm not sure of the aroma either its not that it's bad, I just can't place what it is.
