500ml bottle from a Consett gift pack:
Quite a watery golden colour but with a centimetre tall, foamy white head that's had good retention although the beer itself was a little plain and basic, with a clear body. The nose is a very sweet and quite buttery one with some light vanilla and butterscotch showing, I got some faint biscuits too. The taste is similarly sweet with a lot of butterscotch & butter alongside a background bitterness and pale malts. It's basic tasting but not a bad one, with a creamy and smooth mouthfeel that had a lot of sweetness to it. It's probably not one I'd go for again but it's not the worst, an average bitter really.

A good tasty session beer. Light in colour with a good head that stays throughout the pint. Pleasant to smell and the taste is equally good. Similar to Deuchars IPA and the such. Whilst available all year round this is better to drink in the spring and summer.
