Hand-pulled half pint at the 2012 Shrewsbury Beer Festival on 1st Nov.
At last I get the chance to review one of Norman's beers: my other two attempts have both ending before they started, the bottle conditioned beers being contaminated and undrinkable.
This beer however was fine: Light amber body, with a thin white covering on top.
Malts rule the roost, semi-sweet molasses and fruit notes in both the aroma and taste. The finish was dry and hop bitter, a nicely balanced brew: a little watery or thin body wise but pleasant non-the-less.
