A: Poured into a snfter to a deep brown beer which is almost black. Th beer is topped by a dense and slightly rocky finger of light tan head which fades quickly to a collar around the edge of the glass with minimal lacing.
S: Smells of chocolate, coffee, roasted malts, caramel, and some cognac barrel notes.
T: Taste is somewhat cognac forward up front with chocolate, caramel, and some marshmallow like sweetness, roasted malts as well along with a nice blast of wood. On the swallow there's more cognac, burnt sugars, roasted malts, chocolate, caramel, and a slight raisin note.
M: This beer is fairly full in body with a slightly silky feel on the palate. Carbonation is on the low end but it's adequate for the style while the beer has a drying finish.
O: Overall this beer is incredibly complex and delicious. Really nice flavors that mesh well together which helps to make this an even better version of B.A.R.T.

Very nice barrel aged stout aroma and flavor. Moderately strong barrel aging effects leave more cognac/whisky than wood in the flavor.
Smooth and full body.
