Bourbon Old Digs is a 10.4% wheatwine brewed in collaboration with Urban Roots Brewing. Aromas include caramel, prune, burnt toffee, bourbon, oak and more. This beer was produced for Brewers Intent bottle club members.

Ruddy, orange-brown body; decent head, creamy and lasting. Light malt aroma with a hint of dry wood. Complex and intense flavors; high octane bourbon undercut with earthy spiciness; rye; anise; subdued maltiness. Heavy body; mildly abrasive on the palate; sharp warmth.
This is an interesting and ultimately satisfying big beer. I can't say what two years of aging has done for the beer, but the bourbon barrel aging factor doesn't lack for intensity. Although no longer brewed, I'd be happy to have another one.
