Had this at the Eclipse party 2021. They had a good selection of beers to drink that weren't barrel aged stouts. Always nice to diversify your portfolio.
Pours a beautiful prototype golden color with ample clarity. 3/4" white head. She's a looker. The aroma pops on that Euro yeast. Bit of sulphur in a positive way.
Taste imparts a light grain sweetness, barely there hop level that is appropriate. Yeast seems to keep pushing the taste profile, firmly that Euro strain. Even though it has a crisp mouth feel, there is an above average degree of breadiness to it. There is basically a pilsner malt plus rye addition that works well here. I think if you like this style of beer, this will check all the boxes. Carbonation level on point despite being kind of a destination away from their normal tap set up. I look forward to drinking this beer again, hopefully they package it up because their Tahoe Pilz is righteous too.
