On tap at the Rivershark Pub in George, WA. Named "Spitfire IPA". Served in a pint glass.
Appearance is a hazy tarnished copper color. Decent stark white head.
Smell is a faint bread aroma with some pine notes.
Taste is a strong malty backbone, chewy with a little citrus flavor on the finish. flavor.
Mouthfeel is chewy and smooth.
Drinkable. A smoother milder flavored version of Deschutes Inversion IPA. Drinkable but a bit filling.

A: Pours an orangish/amber color, good frothy white head. Lots of lacing down glass
S: Smells very citrusy, very floral aroma
T: Very well balanced, nice maltiness up front with good hop flavor. Not too bitter but plenty of hoppiness
M: Goes down very easily, nice and smooth drinking beer. Light to medium bodied
D: Very good beer, good balance. Was pleasantly suprised by this one.

This was served at Barking Dog as Windwalker IPA.
Big malty nose, honey and brown sugar. Backed up with nice floral hops with a hint of citrus. Amber with a smallish head (cask) and kind of cloudy.
Very nice flavor. On the hop side but plenty of malt to balance it out. Subtstantially bitter. Lots of crystal malt flavor on the finish. Malt and hop interplay here is pretty good, seems hop dominant at first but washes down with nice malt backbone.
Medium bodied, maybe a little thin. Carbonation level is actually pretty high for a cask ale. Smooth and creamy with light evervescent bubbles.
Very nice beer. Has what a lot of beers lack, full balance, malt to compliment hops, plenty of hops to keep it from being sweet. Would go well with many types of food becuase of it's round flavors.

Brewed at "America's most remote brewery." Had this on cask at The Elk Public House in Spokane for $4.00. This was labelled as "Lang IPA", though it may have a different name in accordance with Lang Creek's traditional aviation - themed nomenclature.
This beer was an orange-bronze hybrid in color. Thick, off-white head that hung around for a while, with huge sheets of lace.
Smell was very citrusy. There were also some sharp, piny notes, but these took a back seat to the citrusy aspect.
Taste was similar to the smell, but a little more balanced. The tart, citrusy hops are in charge, though they are ably supported by the more sharply dry piney ones. There is a mild, malty backbone, but it appears in a strictly supporting role. This is a smooth IPA that goes down easy, but doesn’t come across as being dumbed down. While it’s not a true hophead’s delight, it’s just fine as a session IPA.
