On nitro tap at brewery:
Pours deep dark brown. Because if nitro pour, had about a finger and a half of lovely foamy head, brown-tan in color. Lacing is significant.

Nose is mocha coffee, chocolate and coffee, with a sweetness evident. There is perhaps a hint of licorice. Taste follows the nose, roasted malt chocolate (perhaps due to feel, seems more milk chocolate than dark) and coffee. I also get a chocolate-covered cherry flavor in the end. The feel is silky, but lighter in body, actually.

I can't be sure if the nitro affected this much to the up side, but I quite enjoyed this beer. Will have to try it again.
