Poured on tap at the brewery to a 5oz taster and growler poured at home into a snifter.
Pours a nice dark ruby, little/no head - zero lacing. Honestly doesn't look all that great.
Nose is nice - bready malt, sweet lightly roasted malt, and more malt.
Flavor is pretty great - this comes across like a nice porter with a flavor profile more in line with a brown ale. Nice spice from the malt, bready, but a nice bittering hop effect. Really nice, robust and a big depth of flavor a lower ABV porter (I believe the note here is wrong and it's a 5% not 6%).
Feel is fantastic - great body, no rough edges. Carbonation level is perfect. Well balanced - finishes dry and slightly sweet on the palate. Another great addition to their small batch series.

Draft at Alewerks Taproom. Amber / copper body with a small beige collar. Bready, caramel malt. English style drinkability. Light body and easy drinking with fairly low carbonation. Pretty good.
