Nicely surprised by this. Nicely sour"ed" and not so puckery that your cheeks atrophy. Fun Berlinnner Weisse

On tap at brewery:
Pours a dull goldenrod color, with a deep haze that only shadowy impressions show through. Tiny bubbles are visible rising to feed wisps of head that mainly collects at the edges.
Nose is noticeable as the style of the beer. Wheat and a slight lemony tang are the main things I get. There's an ever so light hint of metal or chemical that may be more sourness coming to my nose in a strange way.
The beer has no metallic taste and the tart note hits first - lemon to sour apple. This fades and the grain notes come out, but the tartness lingers in back. Carbonation faded by the end of the pour but lightened the beer slightly while also providing a decent tingle. Once the carbonation fades, near the very end of each taste is a little soapiness.
A nice representation of the style.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
