A: light but bring yellow, mostly clear, very little head and fine carbonation.

A: bright wheat with straw and lemongrass, citrus and pineapple and coconut.

F: lemongrass and coconut flavors abound, crisp wheat and mild citrus.

M: crisp bite, medium thin, and refreshing, little bits of pineapple and straw linger.

O: excellent flavor and aromas, very nice and drinkable beer. Could use abbot more carbonation to enhance the aroma and mouthfeel.

L: Poured from a bottle to a tulip glass. Had a bright, pale yellow color and a cloudy consistency. There was a half inch of foamy head that lasted an average amount of time. Below average lacing.

S: A nice, if slightly muted, aroma of pineapple, citrus, a funky quality, and some spices.

T: Tasted of a hint of malt, some of the aforementioned funky quality, light Belgian yeast, lots of fruit (pineapple, in particular), and spices (coriander). Definitely an interesting take on the typical Belgian Pale Ale flavor, with a lot of fruit making it unusual. Sweet and fruity.

F: A well-carbonated beer with a smooth and lively finish. Medium-bodied.

O: Certainly not your typical Belgian-style beer, but drinkable nonetheless. Well done, easy to drink.

I don't see a bottle date listed.

Appearance: The beer is a light lemon color and it is very hazy. Although it is hazy the beer itself seems to be free of any visible suspended solids. The head starts out large and white with a creamy surface but fades quickly to a short cap and eventually just a ring.

Aroma: I get a wonderful coriander and coconut aroma. There is a bit of a vanilla scent.

Taste: Up front I get this flavor of sweet tapioca pudding and coconut. It tastes great. It is reminiscent of a light coconut cream pie or another dessert that is light.

Mouthfeel: It has an amazing mouthfeel and it never feels like it is 9.3%. It is light and smooth but not thick. It is a very clean beer.

Overall: The beer is great. On the label it states that it is a "Belgian Style Blonde Ale brewed with coconut, pineapple & nutmeg." I really wasn't getting any of the nutmeg or pineapple but the coconut tasted fantastic. It doesn't taste like toasted coconut but more like the soft shredded stuff you would find in a Mounds candy bar. It's amazing how well it drinks for a beer at 9.3% and it will be gone before you know it. It is a sweet dessert beer that I would absolutely drink again and would highly recommend to others. The back label says "In your hand is one of the few bottles produced for this limited, experimental release." I sincerely hope that they decide to produce this one full time.

Pale straw yellow color with minimal lacing. The adjuncts are not dominant, some pineapple in the aftertaste, but remarkably light in the palate and easy drinking for almost 10%
