It took a liter sized clear glass mug to accommodate this pour to empty the contents of a pint can. There was more than enough stark white foam produced by the act. The color of liquid beneath is sandy-amber and it's opaque to being murky. The aroma isn't bad, just some citrus-like hops and plenty of starches. No doubt, there's plenty of oats in this one. In a minute or two, the foam reduces to a nicely solid head. To taste, the Citra hops shine, bringing just the right flavor and bitterness. The mouthfeel is lighter than expected and compliments the taste. The head endures and the glass lacing is sufficient. This is much better than it looks. Fans of Citra hops should rejoice and what looked like too much starch wasn't. The taste is clean and defined and the mouthfeel is just right.

One of the top IPAs out of Williamsburg in my opinion. Well rated among locals. Bison Beatbox is an American IPA to the bone. Very smooth, citrusy, and crisp. The name is as good as it’s Hops. Highly recommended!

 

 

 

This was one of, if not THE best beers that I have ever had...in fact I registered on Beer Advocate just so I could tell the internet how much I liked this beer. Hoppy and fruity and no excessive bitterness.
I wish I didn't live so far away.

My new favorite beer, Bison Beatbox is an American IPA. It is smooth and crisp. It has a citrus and slightly floral smell. I desperately wish I had more access to this beer. Unfortunately it is a limited brew and I live 3 states away from the brewery.
