Pours orange and gold, with medium head. Fairly smooth with citrus notes and blend. Has a tropical orange tang taste. Finished off with a nice pine hops. Overall a nice brew easily followed with another.

From the stamp over the bar code on the can: "06 24 2020"
Appearance: The body of the beer is a medium gold that has darker shades where light doesn't strike it and lighter shades where light comes through. Very fuzzy shadows are visible through the glass. The head is large, fluffy, and white with very good retention and lacing.
Aroma: There is a faint hint of spruce and mint with a light floral scent over the top of it. The aroma is nice but it barely extends past the surface of the beer.
Taste; Pine comes through up front and carries through all the way to the finish of the beer. There is a light woody character in the middle.
Mouthfeel: It is a light bodied beer but it fills and coats the palate. It has this smooth texture that is slightly chewy or soapy. There is a mild hop bitterness.
Overall: The flavors are good but the texture of the beer feels a bit off. What you are left with is this smooth, soapy feeling bitter pine-like beer. I wouldn't readily recommend it but if you enjoy pine a lot then there is something to like here, because the pine flavor is excellent. I probably wouldn't drink it again given its odd texture.

Can, no date:
Pours a dirty orange-tinged gold, with a tall off-white head that took a few minutes to form large bubbles that would lead to a slow decrease the volume. Lacing was clumpy from this, and spotty thereafter. Heft is medium, leaning heavy, but fairly soft and smooth seemingly due to this increased density. Carbonation fights through to add some bite.
The flavors combine lightly toasted malt, tropical/orange juice blend, and some classic pith/pine bitterness in back. Nose is a little sweeter with overripe tropical notes of papaya and mango, though there's a thread of light pine in there as well. The latter sneaks in early in the taste, but competes with mango, orange/tangerine, and a little pineapple sweetness initially. The fruity notes fade to expose a little evergreen bite, which mellows into a green pine note with some grapefruit white pith dryness.
I'd say this leaves more of a juicy impression than bitter, but is keeping at least a toe in the old school IPA waters.

L: Poured from a tallboy can to a snifter glass. Had a golden yellow color and a cloudy consistency. There was a quarter inch of foamy, somewhat long-lasting head. Very good lacing.
S: A decent, but uneven, aroma of dank hops, citrus fruit, malt, and tropical fruit.
T: Tasted of a small amount of malt (mostly in the finish), a decent shot of citrus fruit (grapefruit, especially), a ton of dank hops (very prevalent), and a tinge of tropical fruit. This flavor is borderline one-note - the hops are almost comically dank and funky. It gets better as it goes along, but it's a bit off-putting at first. Not bad, though.
F: A good amount of carbonation with a lively finish. Medium-bodied.
O: Definitely an uneven beer, but solid enough. Worth a look, especially if you like dank hopped beers.

Hazy, golden body; thick, frothy head. Nice blend of caramel malt and citrus fruit aromas; orange. Spicy and citrus-forward flavors; bitter and boozy. Heavy body with a tickling prickliness; dry.
This DIPA really tickles the tastebuds with a lot of hop presence and juicy flavors. And despite some powerhouse qualities, it does an excellent job of balancing things so that one can truly savor its various sensory elements.

If you are looking for a crystal clear beer, this ain't it. Hazy golden color of a cloudy pineapple juice. Has a slight funk of citrus like an off grapefruit. Tastes heavy of grapefruit but not tart. Smooth and creamy grapefruit taste without the bitterness. But not a sweet grapefruit either.

Flavor of an IPA without a bitterness. Tastes more like a New England ipa
