Pours a nice russet color with a thick, light khaki head, outstanding retention, bands of lace
Winter spices, rich malt, and a bit of a fruity yeast aroma
Hearty malt-toffee, biscuit, a bit of dried fruit, mulled cider flavor
Medium-heavy body, clean, appropriately lower carbonation
I really like that it's well spiced, but you can still make out the malt and yeast contributions. A nice Xmas beer.
