This is sold at Colonial Williamsburg. There is a date on the bottle: "11/09/2022"
Appearance: The body of the beer is a golden-amber color and it looks very cloudy. There are some very small suspended solids but mostly it is just a cloudy looking beer. It has a large fluffy and very foamy white head that has excellent head retention and it leaves lacing which looks a bit like soap suds.
Aroma: At first the beer has an aroma of orange peel but then a pleasant wildflower aroma joins in. There is a bit of a lime aroma too. It smells nice.
Taste: Up front there is this floral flavor mixed with a bit of an herbal thyme flavor. Towards the middle it has a touch of grain flavor. A bit of clean grass on the back-end. A light touch of cedar comes through at the end from time to time.
Mouthfeel: It feels light with a touch of smoothness. A light grassy bitterness to the beer. It's easy to drink.
Overall: It is a nice pale ale that has a floral hop presence which is pleasant. There are light herbal notes with a touch of clean grass flavor. This was bottled in November but it would make a good Springtime beer. I could drink it again from time to time. It's good enough to recommend at least a single pour or bottle.
