From the pint can, it pours a slightly hazy light golden appearance with a modest, soon diminishing white head. The nose gets the lime and a slight spice. The mouth gets a llime flavored lager with a bite of jalapeno. Interesting, but not my style.

From the bottom edge of the can: "CANNED 5/7/24"
Appearance: The body is hazy with a gold appearance. It has a short white head. Decent head retention with some minor spots of lacing.
Aroma: It has a faint aroma of cereal grains but that is it. There isn't much going on in the aroma here.
Taste: Up front there is a cereal grain flavor that comes up first, then it is shortly joined with a bit of a roasted pepper flavor. It has a bit of toast with some light carbon up front. The middle of the palate accentuates the flavor a touch more but it evens it out across the tongue, giving it a bit more of a light campfire flavor. It has a bit of a roasted jalapeño flavor with some hatch chili pepper as well.
Mouthfeel: It is a light bodied beer with a low heat. It is very drinkable and it feels smooth.
Overall: It's a pretty good beer. The label on the can states that this is a "JALAPEÑO LIME LAGER" and it does have some roasted pepper flavor which tastes like jalapeño but there isn't any lime to be found. There is a light toasted note to the beer which is nice. As a whole it is pretty average but it's still enjoyable. If you enjoy pepper beers this will work in a pinch but it only just barely scratches the itch.
