On-tap at Oktoberfest Blumenau, on to the beer:
This Brazilian Pale Ale isn´t pale, but more of an amber orange colored beer with creamy lacing and solid rentention. The nose is very fruity and a little toasty. I wasn´t expecting this much fruitiness, and it´s a little tart.
The first impression of its taste is weird. Ít´s got a sizeable tart edge to it, resemblant of soured apricots. As I drink more of it, the more pleasant and complex it beocmes. The aprioct note gives this pale ale a distnict flavor, and the addition tasting notes of toasted malt and toffee keeps things rolling smoothly. Speaking of smoothly, that describes the mouthfeel very well.
At the end of it all, it´s a distinctive pale ale in a market which pale ales aren´t an easy style to find.
