Tasted 27 Feb 2010, from bottles dated 12/10 (month/year?). Some research showed this is supposed to be released in March, so perhaps the local Monoprix put it out early. It is billed as a showcase of their brewers' talent and love for their craft on the Kronenbourg website.
Pours with a white head that leaves a faint lace over the liquid after a minute. Smells faintly of pears, hop sweetness, golden roasted malt. Quite nice harvest gold color, clear.
Very light bodied, almost vanishing flavor. Otherwise, some of that pear meets very subtle roasted malt and slight hop flavors. Finishes a bit like a Budweiser, with a hint of hop bitterness. Otherwise, virtually nonexistent on the palate.
This is better than the normal Kronenbourg and possibly better than 1664, but that's not a high bar to beat anyway. This is definitely drinkable, and would make a good session beer.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
