Brewed with strains of hops so fresh and new some don't even have a name yet. This beer is loaded with four newer hops including Mosaic, Equinox, #07270, and Meridian as well as the old standbys of Cascade and CTZ. Green Cross IPA is a modern style IPA loaded with citrus and tropical fruit flavors on top of a solid NW malt backbone.

On tap; mostly clear gold, good lacing. Earthy and dank, mild citrus, grapefruit rind - malt underneath. Feels old school, West Coast. Dank, dry hops upfront and throughout the flavors. Pretty good stuff, better than I expected. Dry, clean, hoppy, floral, dank, crisp, bitter, and malty.

Look: Opaque dark orange to light amber in color with a frothy off-white head that erupts and slowly settles to a lid, leaving great lacing behind
Aroma: Pine, citrus fruits, Cannabis, bready malt notes, and homebrew-like greenness
Taste: Pine and Cannabis combine and hit the ground running only to be followed by a nice citrus punch and a slew of macerated hop cones that hit with a resinous, pithy edge. These continue to develop along with malt before closing with dank and a big hop bite
Mouthfeel: Full, slick, slightly chewy, medium-high carbonation, and medium to medium-high dryness on the finish
Overall: This is dank – literally and figuratively. Suits its name well as it is definitely Cannabis-influenced in its flavor and aroma but also feels and drinks like many old-school WCIPA’s did in the mid-00’s – with an unrelenting hop bombardment. Delicious stuff and by the printed description on my can, utilizes Strata, Citra, and Chinook hops so looks to have had a recipe tweak. I dig it

Draft at Benchwarmers. Amber dolored pour, with a small off-white foamy head. Aroma is hops, citrusy floral, earthy. Taste balances the malts with some citrusy, floral hops. A bit old school IPA as you go deeper.

Lots of suspended "debris" in the pour from a 12 oz. can, probably yeast. Will be off-putting to some, but not so much to this occasional home brewer, though I won't want the last sip or 2, which is a waste. Sediment settles to the bottom of the glass and agitates upward with each tilt to sip. Their hops choices fare better in the aroma than on the tastebuds where the bitterness lingers a little too heavily and long. I get the need to pack it with IBUs given the sweetness that still manages to shine through. This isn't a bad IPA but it's not my favorite. Clunky and unbalanced, it tastes experimental rather than perfected. Maybe brewed after a trip to the local "green cross."

Very hazy gold with four fingers of off white head. Rings and swathes of lace as head slowly drops.
Smell is pungent dank tropical fruit with some pine.
Taste is fruity green tropical dank slight pine hop oil resin. Malt is there but subdued.
Mouthfeel is light to medium with good carbonation. Finish is lightly dry and bitter.
Overall a tasty and easy drinking IPA with a good mixture of hops. 58 IBUs.
