Look: An almost clear darker yellow in color with an awesome head that erupts and holds as a pillow, eventually settling and leaving behind great lacing
Aroma: Wet straw, honey, pilsner malt, floral hop notes, soda crackers and freshly baked bread
Taste: Starts off with a lot of bready and cracker-like malt before a rush of honey and floral hops jump in ā a little honeysuckle, cherry laurel, and tobacco flowers among them. All sorts of malt flavors develop in the middle (bread crust, crackers, straw, etc.) and closes with a flowery send-off
Mouthfeel: Light but full, medium-high carbonation, clean and crisp throughout and the same on the finish with just a hint of dryness
Overall: I dig it. This is a good, tasty, and well-made American take on an export lager and continues my personal experience with these folks as being good and flying under the radar. A lot of nice floral hops in play along with plenty of malt flavor/aroma depth and in an easy-drinking and reasonably priced sixer ā yep, Iām in

12 oz can from a 6 pack purchased at the D-Street Grocery Outlet in Salem OR
$8.99
Pours the traditional clear golden body with a rather large thick and frothy white head.
Rather pleasing aroma of clean bready malts and floral hops. So simple yet so inviting.
Taste the same and more on the malty side, but does not drown out the delicate hops. Well balanced indeed..some nice lemon zest hoppiness right at the end.
Mouth feel is perfect for this beer..light yet nor watery.
Really nice Helles style lager. No date on can and this could be a few months old but it is still very poundable.
