This English style beer is a nutty brown ale with flavors of bread, caramel, chocolate, toffee, and a hint of burnt toast. Lightly finished with traditional Golding hops from the East Kent.

Look: Rich mahogany on the pour and flirting with black in the glass with a slow-forming head that swells up and holds as a pillow, eventually settling to reveal webs of lacing left behind
Aroma: Warm brown bread, caramel, toasted bread crust, toffee, a little earthiness, and wafts of tree nuts
Taste: Starts off with caramel drizzled toasted bread and some light nutty notes. Earthy hops and toffee go back and forth in the middle as the nuttiness develops further and closes with more caramel, nuts, and rich bready malt
Mouthfeel: Full, soft throughout, medium-high carbonation, and finishes soft as well
Overall: I dig it. A tasty and respectable but brown that is good, though not super complex, which is okay for me given that the style isn’t supposed to be complex, in my opinion. A good middle of the road beer for anytime drinking and I’ll always give props and support brewers who make brown ales as they are a severely underrepresented style
