A - thick black, not much head/lacing

S - good roasty nose

T - WOW, this is a beast! A lovely beast of roast, chocolate, just terrific

M - I love it, doesn't get the heavy-ness that many big stouts get, this is just really smooth

O - A great beer! Huge flavor, loving it.

A - Pours an opaque black with very thin khaki head. Scattered but minimal lacing left behind.

S - Not a whole lot going on in this category. Some roasted malts and a little booze comes through when it is agitated.

T - Here is where the beer really impresses. Exceeded expectations. Roasted malts up front, followed by some bitterness and dark chocolate. It finishes with slight alcohol warming. This one is more about the roast than anything, which is delicious.

M - Moderate mouthfeel. The carbonation is there, but this offering is better described as smooth. Certainly not thin, but not overly sticky or syrupy.

O - As I said earlier, my expectations were exceeded with this beer from Carolina Brewing Company (Holly Springs, NC.) Very tasty.
