Dark but with some light showing through on the edges. Tan head that leaves no lacing. The nose is filled with chocolate, roasted malts and coffee. The taste is slightly sweet with a nice charred taste and some hints of chocolate. A bit thin feeling for an imperial stout but it works nice with this beer. Really solid, no frills stout that I hope to enjoy again.
